For architects and lighting designers.
The same shades, the same machines, a DALI driver and a five-year warranty. Photometrics and declarations are on this page, not behind a form.
What is different in the contract version
What we will tell you before you specify
The material softens at 62 °C. That rules out enclosed fittings, close ceilings above high-output sources, and anywhere a shade sits in direct summer sun behind glass. In a normal interior with the LK‑9 the shade runs at about 31 °C at the hottest point, which we will measure for your fitting if you ask.
It is not rated for exterior use except SKYMNING at IP44. It is not fire-rated as a shade above HB. And a printed wall has a grain: it is strong in the hoop direction and weaker along the helix, so a shade takes a knock from the side better than a squeeze from the top.
None of that is in a datasheet you would find by yourself, which is why it is here rather than in a footnote.
